What are the awards about?
The City of London Corporation encourages building and civil engineering contractors in the City of London to work in a safe and considerate manner, with regard to pedestrians and road users. The City of London's Considerate Contractor Scheme (CCS) challenges contractors to strive for the best standards in the industry, awarding those that consistently perform to the highest levels with an industry respected Gold Award.
The scheme is open to contractors undertaking building and civil engineering in the City of London. Members agree to follow the Code of Conduct and display the CCS signs on site.
