Period Properties

We are often recommended by the Local Authority Conservation Officers and English Heritage for repair and restoration works to period properties within our geographical area.

Our skilled craftsmen and tradesmen are highly valued members of our team. They are experienced in working on timber frame buildings using traditional joints and have knowledge of traditional materials and temporary works such as supporting structures and safeguarding the fabric whilst carrying out essential repairs. Our skilled craftsmen and tradesmen are also experienced in working with lime in mortar and plaster mixes including curing and after working.

New Build Houses and Extensions

We built our first new build house in 1880 at the cost of £170. Since then we have gained extensive experience of new build and refurbishment projects.

As a principle contractor we cover every aspect of renovations, alterations and new builds. Our directly employed workforce include bricklayers, plasterers, carpenters, joiners and stone masons, and is regularly supplemented with specialist sub-contractors who we have worked with for many years.
