About the carpenter job
We are looking for a directly employed Carpenter to work on refurbishment, rebuilds and restoration projects to historic and prestige properties in Essex, Hertfordshire and Suffolk.
Duties will include
- Structural repairs to timber framed buildings, including sole plate repairs
- Hand cut timber frame extensions and roofs
- Installation of stud walls
- Installation of door and window linings
- Installation of doors and windows
- Installation of architraves and skirting
- Other first and second fix carpentry duties
The successful applicant will require a current driving license.
Package details
The successful applicant will have the use of a company van and fuel, basic tools and PPE will all be provided. Our skilled craftsmen work on timber frame buildings often using traditional construction methods and materials. They have the experience and knowledge to carry out temporary works such as supporting structures and safeguard the fabric whilst carrying out essential repairs.
