Bakers of Danbury are carrying out a large-scale renovation of old yacht club building in Burnham-on-Crouch to create a stunning riverfront residence.

The renovation and extension of the fomer Old Club House into a coastal residence is a complex project. Its proximity to the River Crouch requires careful management of working alongside tidal waters, including temporary works beyond local sea defences and logistical challenges due to restricted access with water on three sides of the property. It includes the construction of overwater steel and glass balconies which require precision engineering and co-ordination. It will balance preserving the property’s heritage and maritime charm with green innovations.
